  • I was an actual practicing CPA at the Big Firms for 10 years at Grant Thorton as a Senior Audit Manager, 3 years at PWC and 20+ years in private tax practice. 

  • I have a first-hand understanding of both our profession and your firm's needs to recruit and maintain the right mix of business development and technical talent. 

  • Low fees at 5% - 8%, not the standard 25%

    • Fees are not my priority having already enjoyed many successful years as a practicing CPA.  I recruit because I enjoy using my first-hand practice knowledge and network to match your firm’s needs with fellow practitioners based on their present skills and objectives.​​​

Simple fees & terms

Fees (as percent of hired salary)

For Tax, Audit & Advisory:

  • Directors & Partners:  5%

  • Senior Managers:        6%

  • Managers:                     7%

  • Senior Accountants:    8% 

Terms

  • Fee payable within 15 days of candidate's acceptance of your offer.

  • Fee earned by FFCPA over number of days candidate stays employed:

    • 90+ days:  fee fully earned
    • 60 to 90 days:  2/3 fee earned, 1/3 credit to next search 
    • 30 to 60 days:  1/3 earned, 1/3 refunded, 1/3 credit to next search

    • < 30 days:  2/3 refunded, 1/3 credit to next search

  • A candidate is someone we present, to whom you have never been introduced or not been introduced within the past 2 years.

We can have a brief introductory call and engagement can be as simple as an email agreeing with the fees and

terms presented here or you can request terms more suitable to your needs.
